Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bethel Warriors (Bethel, AK), 72-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Houston upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Kotzebue won 67-61 in their recent non-league bout against Homer (Homer, AK)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK).
