The Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN), 75-64 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN). The Stars go into the AA Section 5 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Southwest Christian went down by Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 109-69, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Cambridge-Isanti for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Big Lake will encounter a Bluejackets squad coming off a 92-85 non-league loss to St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 12-8.
