Ohio High School Basketball - Chaney thwarts Perry

The Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), 64-52 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cowboys (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Poland Seminary notched a victory over Girard (Girard, OH), 53-38, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Perry will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 12-8.
