Indiana High School Basketball - Connersville tops East Central

February 9, 2023: Connersville, IN 47331

Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 38-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Connersville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host New Palestine (New Palestine, IN) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 18-1. New Palestine won 61-51 in their recent league bout against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a Eastern Indiana bout, on Saturday, February 11. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 68-36 league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN).
