Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE), 73-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Newark Charter School upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Patriots host Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Wilmington Christian lost 74-35 in their recent league bout against St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Delmarva Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 112-60 league loss to Seaford (Seaford, DE).
