Win-E-Mac Patriots (Erskine, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), 59-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Win-E-Mac upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Patriots travel to Kittson Central (Hallock, MN) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Green Wave play the Crookston Pirates (Crookston, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Monday, February 13. East Grand Forks will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 80-66 league loss to Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN).
