The Rapid River Rockets basketball team (Rapid River, MI), was nudged 61-58 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI)
The Trojans now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Superior Central for a Central Upper Peninsula battle on Friday, February 10. Forest Park will confront a Cougars team coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.
The Rockets (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Munising (Munising, MI). The Mustangs come into the Central Upper Peninsula battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Munising edged North Central (Powers, MI), 54-49, in a non-league battle.
