The Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) basketball knocked off the host Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), 57-48 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Mobridge-Pollock went down by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 51-47, in a non-league test.
The Pheasants now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Northwestern Area for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Redfield will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-30 non-league win over North Central (Eureka, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-4.
