The Hayfield Vikings topped the visiting Rushford-Peterson Trojans basketball team by a final score of 45-30 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) in a A Section 1 game, on Tuesday, February 14. Hayfield will attempt to move on its 19-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 19-2 record after their 68-67 non-league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN).
With the defeat, Rushford-Peterson moves to 10-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN) to face the Lions in a A Section 1 game on Saturday, February 11. The Lions enter the game with a record of 17-1. Spring Grove won 47-42 in their recent league game against Southland (Adams, MN)
