Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Montrose Blue Jays (Montrose, MO), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sherwood upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Marksmen host El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a Ozark Highlands bout on Monday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-3. El Dorado Springs won 62-38 in their recent league bout against Buffalo (Buffalo, MO)

Next up, the Blue Jays play the Kingsville Tigers (Kingsville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 75-30 non-league win over Chilhowee (Chilhowee, MO).
