Nebraska High School Basketball - Mullen winner over Sandhills Valley

The Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE) basketball felled the host Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE), 40-30 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Broncos (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Hay Springs topped Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 69-65, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Mavericks play the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Sandhills Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Dusters go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE).
