The St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT), 77-72 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Lynn, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, St. Mary's got by Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA), 77-42, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league test on Monday, February 13.
