The Roncalli Cavaliers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights to 19 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warner for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Roncalli will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-6.
The Knights (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots enter the B Region 1 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Hitchcock-Tulare was routed by Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD), 62-46, in a non-league contest.
