Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) and the host Liberty Leopards (Youngstown, OH), saw Boardman's basketball squad knock off Liberty by a count of 57-48.

With the victory, Boardman upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Leopards play the Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Grey challenge, on Monday, February 13. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 33-25 non-league win over Lordstown (Warren, OH).
