Menomonee Falls Phoenix (Menomonee Falls, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brookfield Academy Blue Knights (Brookfield, WI), 58-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Menomonee Falls upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Phoenix host Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a Greater Metro bout on Friday, February 10. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Brookfield East won 72-41 in their recent league bout against West Allis Hale (West Allis, WI)

Next up, the Blue Knights clash with the Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights (Milwaukee, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Brookfield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Red Knights go into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 74-50 league loss to Whitnall (Greenfield, WI).
