In Thursday's non-league match, the host Capitol Lions basketball team scored a decisive 56-2 triumph over the Mentorship Academy Sharks.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. Capitol will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 12-12 record after their 48-14 non-league win over Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA).
