Minnesota High School Basketball - Zimmerman thwarts Chisago Lakes Area

The Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) basketball knocked off the host Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 63-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Thunder (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Mora (Mora, MN). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Mora went down by Albany (Albany, MN), 73-24, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Monticello for a AAA Section 5 test on Tuesday, February 14. Chisago Lakes Area will encounter a Magic squad coming off a 67-30 league win over Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Magic record now stands at 16-6.
