The Washburn Cardinals (Washburn, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Flasher Bulldogs (Flasher, ND), 41-39 in Thursday's league test.
The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND). The Warriors go into the B Region 5 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Standing Rock was tipped by Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND), 84-33, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-10 record.
