The Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) basketball knocked off the host Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), 54-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (17-11) will now prepare for their test against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros go into the non-league test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Glendale notched a victory over Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA), 50-44, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 13-11 record.
