The Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) basketball felled the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 55-42 in Thursday's league test.
The Crusaders (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans go into the Division 2 test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Woonsocket was beaten by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 64-19, in a league test.
The Kilties now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they host West Warwick for a Division 2 test on Monday, February 13. Mt. Pleasant will encounter a Wizards squad coming off a 57-32 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 16-5.
