The Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) basketball nipped the visiting South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), 47-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Pointers now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belpre for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 15. South Point will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Caldwell (Caldwell, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-18.
