In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) basketball squad felled the host Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD), by a margin of 58-49.
The Trojans (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Elk Point-Jefferson thwarted Beresford (Beresford, SD), 45-28, in a league outing.
The Cossacks now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Parker for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 11. Sioux Valley will encounter a Pheasants squad coming off a 42-32 non-league loss to Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 2-14.
