In Thursday's non-league outing, the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) basketball squad beat the host Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD), by a margin of 58-43.
The Spartans (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Hitchcock-Tulare was beaten by Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 59-54, in a non-league outing.
