In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Clarke Central Gladiators soccer squad scored a close 4-3 win over the Commerce Tigers.
The Gladiators (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Archer nipped Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats go into the 1A D-I Region 8 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Rabun County nipped Athens Christian (Athens, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
