New Mexico High School Basketball - Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy can't hold off Cottonwood Classical Prep

The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle to 61 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Coyotes now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Cottonwood Classical Prep will battle a Sundevils team coming off a 49-27 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-14.

The Eagle (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record.
