Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), 57-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Genoa-Kingston upgrades its record to 17-10 on the season. The Cogs travel to Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL) to clash with the Rockets in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Rock Falls lost 65-62 in their recent league bout against Oregon (Oregon, IL)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Harvard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 22-5 record after their 62-20 league win over North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL).
