Kentucky High School Basketball - Lafayette knocked off by Anderson County

The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Lafayette Generals to 39 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Jessamine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Anderson County will battle a Colts team coming off a 50-48 league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts record now stands at 4-19.
The Generals (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Eagles enter the District 43 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Lexington Christian ran past Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
