The Ayersville Pilots basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Edgerton Bulldogs to 44 in the Pilots league triumph on Friday.
The Pilots now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stryker for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Ayersville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-35 league loss to Pettisville (Pettisville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
The Bulldogs (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Pettisville (Pettisville, OH). The Blackbirds enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Pettisville ran past Stryker (Stryker, OH), 44-35, in a league contest.
