The Beatrice Orangemen basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Northwest Vikings to 50 in the Orangemen non-league victory on Friday.
The Orangemen now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plattsmouth for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Beatrice will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 72-30 non-league loss to Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-14.
The Vikings (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, North Platte prevailed over Gering (Gering, NE), 53-52, in a non-league contest.
