Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Hoover's basketball squad overcome Boardman by a tally of 55-45.
With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Louisville (Louisville, OH) to confront the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. Louisville won 79-59 in their recent league challenge against Washington (Massillon, OH)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Boardman will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Lake (Uniontown, OH).
