The Nixa Eagles basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Carthage Tigers to 60 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkview for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Nixa will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-52 league loss to West Plains (West Plains, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 10-8.

With the defeat, Carthage moves to 13-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Branson (Branson, MO) to face the Pirates in a Central Ozarks game on Tuesday, February 13. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 8-10. Branson won 71-58 in their recent league game against Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO)
