The Centennial Chargers basketball team (Champaign, IL), was nudged 59-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL)

The Lions now possess a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manual for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. Peoria will confront a Rams team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Rams record now stands at 19-10.

The Chargers (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Tigers come into the Big Twelve battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Urbana was nudged by Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL), 60-41, in a non-league battle.
