Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO) and the host Center Vikings (Center, CO), saw Custer County's basketball squad overcome Center by a tally of 46-29.

With the victory, Custer County improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host South Park (Fairplay, CO) to confront the Burros in a 2A/1A West Central challenge on Monday, February 12. The Burros come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. South Park lost 41-28 in their recent league challenge against Sargent (Monte Vista, CO)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO) in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks challenge, on Friday, February 16. Center will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 58-26 league win over Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO).
