Kansas High School Basketball - Chaparral overwhelmed by Independent

The Independent Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Chaparral Roadrunners to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belle Plaine for a Central Plains contest on Tuesday, February 13. Independent will battle a Dragons team coming off a 62-40 non-league loss to Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 5-13.
The Roadrunners (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Eagles come into the Central Plains contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Kingman was routed by Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS), 44-27, in a non-league contest.
