The Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) basketball felled the visiting Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN), 69-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (7-11) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, North Central was beaten by Pike (Indianapolis, IN), 62-56, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a Mid-Southern test on Friday, February 16. Charlestown will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 3-17.
