Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 85-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Colfax-Mingo upgrades its record to 7-15 on the campaign. The Tigerhawks host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Pleasantville lost 81-42 in their recent non-league bout against Saydel (Des Moines, IA)

Next up, the Sabers play the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Twin Cedars will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 59-29 league win over English Valleys (North English, IA).
