North Muskegon Norsemen (North Muskegon, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Muskegon upgrades its record to 18-0 on the season. The Norsemen host White Cloud (White Cloud, MI) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 15-2. White Cloud won 65-41 in their recent league bout against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI)

Next up, the Chargers play the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Covenant Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 75-45 league win over Lowell (Lowell, MI).
