The South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) basketball nipped the host Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), 47-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Hitchcock County got by Wallace (Wallace, NE), 70-48, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Wallace for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Creek Valley will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 70-48 non-league loss to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-15.
