In Friday's league outing, the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) basketball squad felled the visiting Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), by a margin of 56-39.
The Mounties (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans go into the Division 3 outing with a 2-17 record. In their last outing, Scituate was beaten by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 75-36, in a non-league outing.
The Scarlet Knights now own a 5-14 record.
