The St. Rita Mustangs basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Golder Panthers to 41 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a Chicago Catholic - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 13. St. Rita will battle a Meteors team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Meteors record now stands at 18-11.

The Panthers (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Little Village (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, Little Village was routed by Julian (Chicago, IL), 71-47, in a non-league contest.
