In Friday's league outing, the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 73-51.
The Bruins (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Southeastern outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, King's Fork smashed Petersburg (Petersburg, VA), 70-51, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Ocean Lakes for a non-league outing on Monday, February 12. Great Bridge will encounter a Dolphins squad coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins record now stands at 1-20.
