New Jersey High School Basketball - Hopewell Valley Central edged by Nottingham

The Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs basketball team (Pennington, NJ), was nudged 39-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Nottingham Northstars (Hamilton, NJ)

The Northstars now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LEAP Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Nottingham will confront a Lancers team coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 12-9.

The Bulldogs (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Princeton (Princeton, NJ). The Tigers enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Princeton was nudged by Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ), 66-63, in a league contest.
