Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) and the host Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH), saw Keene's basketball squad hold off Nashua South by a count of 74-72.

With the victory, Keene upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Blackbirds travel to Salem (Salem, NH) to play the Blue Devils in a Division I challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Salem won 54-52 in their recent league challenge against Exeter (Exeter, NH)

Next up, the Purple Panthers play the Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, February 16. Nashua South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
