Leeton Bulldogs (Leeton, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Midway Vikings (Cleveland, MO), 53-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Leeton upgrades its record to 9-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 13-7. St. Paul Lutheran won 59-34 in their recent league bout against Santa Fe (Alma, MO)

Next up, the Vikings play the Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO) in a Western Missouri bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 53-44 league loss to Adrian (Adrian, MO).
