In Friday's non-league outing, the Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds (Mahnomen, MN), by a margin of 79-77.
The Vikings (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Trojans go into the AA Section 8 outing with a 17-5 record.
