Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) and the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), saw Milford's basketball squad overcome South Newton by a tally of 63-54.

With the victory, Milford improves its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Watseka (Watseka, IL) to confront the Warriors in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Watseka won 71-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL)

Next up, the Rebels confront the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. South Newton will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-17 record after their 48-34 league win over Armstrong (Armstrong, IL).
