In Friday's league outing, the South Holt Knights (Oregon, MO) basketball squad beat the visiting North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO), by a margin of 57-49.
The Knights (20-5) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Blue Jays go into the Highway 275 outing with a 3-23 record. In their last outing, Northeast Nodaway was topped by Mound City (Mound City, MO), 68-52, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 19-9 record. They play next when they host King City for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. North Nodaway will clash with a Wildkats squad coming off a 74-63 non-league loss to Savannah (Savannah, MO). The Wildkats record now stands at 5-22.
