Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southern Coffey County Titans (LeRoy, KS), 50-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yates Center upgrades its record to 1-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Chetopa (Chetopa, KS) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Chetopa lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast (Arma, KS)

Next up, the Titans play the Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Southern Coffey County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 64-40 non-league win over Cornerstone Family (Topeka, KS).
