The Appalachian Eagles tipped the visiting Athens Bible Trojans basketball team by a final score of 43-42 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 14. Appalachian will attempt to move on its 17-11 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 30-1 record after their 88-20 non-league win over Wadley (Wadley, AL).
With the defeat, Athens Bible moves to 14-8 on the year.
