The Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Nikiski Bulldogs to 32 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soldotna for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will meet a Stars team coming off a 70-16 league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK). The Stars record now stands at 9-8.

The Bulldogs (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Eagle River was outscored by Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
